Market intel for owners thinking about exit — and the advisors who guide them
Most M&A content is written by buyers, for buyers. Sold! is the other side — a newsletter written every other week for the people who built the business, and the CPAs, attorneys, and wealth advisors in their corner.
Real multiples. Plain English. From someone who’s actually done the deal.
What you get

Who it’s for
Business owners thinking about an exit. Whether you’re 18 months out or 5 years out, the better you understand the market you’ll eventually sell into, the better the outcome. Sold! gives you the same intel sophisticated buyers and bankers see — without the jargon.
CPAs, attorneys, and wealth advisors. Your clients ask you about exit value, deal structure, and timing. Sold! gives you specific, current, regional data points so you can answer with confidence. Forward issues to the clients who’d benefit.

A note from Brecht
I built and sold my own software company over 13 years using a competitive bid process — six LOIs on the table, sold to the right buyer at the right price. Before that I closed over $250 million in commercial assets as a CRE broker and auctioneer.
I started Arx because most owners get stuck between two bad options: brokers who post a listing and pray, or investment banks that won’t return their calls. Sold! is the same idea applied to a newsletter — give owners (and their advisors) the intel they actually need, written by someone who’s been in the chair.
Reply to any issue. I read every email.
